The Word Eid

When hearing the word Eid, certainly in everyone's mind that there is happiness and victory. Where on that day, all the people are happy and pleased to have implemented the fasting month.


In the Eid is also marked by a "homecoming (back home)" that in fact only exist in Indonesia. Moreover, Eid is also often characterized by almost 90% they put something new, from new clothes, new shoes, new bike, new car, or even a new wife (for the newly married). Understandably because the velocity of money was biggest at Lebaran. If it so, how exactly is the meaning of Eid al-Fitr itself. Is enough Eid marked with something new, or homecoming for bersilaturrahim to relatives and friends?.

Eid al-Fitr (back to nature), so a feast which is celebrated after the fasting Muslims carry out a full month of Ramadan. Named as human Eid day is like a new baby out of the womb that has no sin and wrong.

Eid is also defined by a return to nature (early events). In a sense from that day onwards, we are all expected to return to nature. Where at the beginning of the event, all men in a state to admit that God is the only God. In today's terms this is known as "Primordial Agreement" an agreement between man and God which contains an acknowledgment to God, as recorded in surah al-A'raf (7) paragraph 172:

وإذ أخذ ربك من بني ءادم من ظهورهم ذريتهم وأشهدهم على أنفسهم ألست بربكم قالوا بلى شهدنا أن تقولوا يوم القيامة إنا كنا عن هذا غافلين
(And (remember) when your Lord issued descendants of the children of Adam from their loin and God took testimony against their souls (saying): "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes (Thou our Lord), we a witness ". (We did that) so that in the day ye should say:" We (children of Adam) are the ones who missed the this (oneness of God) ").

Along with the development itself, many of the people in his life who forget God and sin and wrong has been done to God and their fellow human beings. To that end, understanding the meaning of Eid al-Fitr (back to nature) by rebuilding devotion to God is a must so that we can all be servants and slaves Muttaqin that has no sin. Sin to God and repent erased with the sins of their fellow human beings can be erased with silaturrahim.

How to Erase Sins To God is with Repentance

Sin is evil in the sight of Allah notes made by every human being because they do not run a command or because they disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.

Ramadan is a special month set aside by God to Muslims. In this month there maghfirah, mercy and itqun dominant nar. Moreover, Ramadan is also a means of mankind to plead and ask for forgiveness from God by way of fasting and prayer perform tarawih. As the Apostle hadith:

أخرج البخاري: حدثنا محمد بن سلام قال أخبرنا محمد بن فضيل قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه
(From Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Salam from Yahya ibn Sa'id Faudhail of Abi Salamah from Abu Hurayrah said that of the Prophet SAW said: Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan with the belief that fasting commandment from God and just expect a reward from Allah will have his sins forgiven ).

So did God provide Qiyam Ramadan (Taraweeh) as a means of removal of sin if it is done for God and just expect a reward from Allah. As stated in the Hadith Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawud in the book

أخرج ابي داود: حدثنا الحسن بن علي ومحمد بن المتوكل قالا حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر قال الحسن في حديثه ومالك بن أنس عن الزهري عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة قال كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يرغب في قيام رمضان من غير أن يأمرهم بعزيمة ثم يقول من قام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه فتوفي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم والأمر على ذلك ثم كان الأمر على ذلك في خلافة أبي بكر رضي الله عنه وصدرا من خلافة عمر رضي الله عنه
(From al-Hasan ibn Ali and Muhammad ibn al-Mutawakkil both of Abd al-Razaq al-Ma'mar of al-Hasan and Malik ibn Anas al-Zuhri from Abu Salamah from Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah pleased perform Qiyam Ramadan (Taraweeh) although not require it. then said: "Whoever perform Qiyam Ramadan (tarawih) due to Allah and seek reward from Allah will have his sins forgiven the past. Later the Prophet's death, was the problem Qiyam Ramadan remains as before the reign of Abu Bakr and the early reign of Omar bin Khattab).

With diligence fasting and prayer tarawih sincerely seek blessings and rewards from Allah, sins and failures to God has forgiven except the sin of shirk, so that we become servants who clean from sin. Having our sins forgiven by God, then the next stage is to cleanse our sins to fellow human beings.

Eid al-Fitr or return to nature would be perfect when our sins to God deletion followed by elimination of our sins to fellow human beings. Losing one's sins to a fellow human being with the way we beg forgiveness and forgive others.

Now, with the momentum this Eid we let use as a means to apologize and forgive others bersilaturrahim (connecting affection) either to the husband or wife, parents, children, family, relatives, neighbors and friends and our relationships when there hatred towards them. Because love is the opposite of hatred. So people who no hatred in him the husband or wife, parent, child, family, relatives, neighbors, friends and relatives called with affection breaker (Qathiul Rahim). People who decide love (Qathiul Rahim) in Saheeh hadith explained that they would not go to heaven. As the words of the Apostle:

أخرج البخاري: حدثنا يحيى بن بكير حدثنا الليث عن عقيل عن ابن شهاب أن محمد بن جبير بن مطعم قال إن جبير بن مطعم أخبره أنه سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول لا يدخل الجنة قاطع
(From Yahya bin al-Lais Bukair of Uqail from Ibn Shihab from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn that Mut'im said that he heard the Prophet SAW said: affection breaker will not go to heaven).

In another hadith also explained:

أخرج أحمد: حدثنا يونس بن محمد قال حدثني الخزرج يعني ابن عثمان السعدي عن أبي أيوب يعني مولى عثمان عن أبي هريرة قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إن أعمال بني آدم تعرض كل خميس ليلة الجمعة فلا يقبل عمل قاطع رحم
(From Jonah ibn Muhammad from al-Khazraj (Ibn Usman al-Sa'diy of Abi Ayub (Maula Usman) from Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah said: It works Bani Adam (humans) are reported every Thursday evening of Friday, will not be accepted deeds (good) people who decide affection).

In addition we ask for forgiveness and give forgiveness, we must and shall as far as possible into private forgiving. Forgiveness is different from forgiving. If forgiveness that happens when someone apologizes, being forgiving is the one who gives forgiveness for the mistakes of others before the person is asking for forgiveness. It is strongly in the surah Ali Imran (3) paragraph 134:

الذين ينفقون في السراء والضراء والكاظمين الغيظ والعافين عن الناس والله يحب المحسنين
(Inhabitants of heaven are) those who spend (wealth), both in time and narrow the field, and those who restrain anger and pardon (error) people. Allah loves those who do good.

Thus, let us make this year's Eid Eid is different from previous years because we have understood the meaning of Eid. With us maximize bersilaturahim to apologize, to forgive and to be a forgiving. Do not let jealousy and hatred permeates our souls back to have pure (holy).

With this momentum anyway, i Muhammad Ma'mun as many creatures and full of mistakes and sins, which I intentionally or not, I am sincerely asking for forgiveness for all the mistakes and my sins to you all. Vice versa, if there was a mistake and all your sins to me, gracefully I forgive you. With hope, may we all be human as clean as a newborn child from the womb, who had no wrong and sinful.

من العائدين والفائزين, كل عام وأنتم بخير ""
