The Power Of Prayer

There are very good like that given by Ibn Qayyim Al Jauziyah. He explained how the efficacy of prayer, and this is like the sharp sword. We must reflect on this so that we can continue to pray and the spirit of not despair.

Ibn al-Qayyim in al Jawabul Kaafi said,

"Benediction and ta'awudz (seek refuge in Allah) is like a sword. The sword is reliable tebasannya not just sharpness. Therefore, a sword so powerful when: (1) no defect, (2) a slash is strong and (3) there is no barrier when the sword dihujam makes enemies eliminated. If one of these three things is missing, the sword is not powerful.

Benediction too. Benediction is not effective if: (1) people who pray are not good, (2) who prays does not unite the hearts and pray while oral (meaning: prayers that are being said, not impregnated), (3) there is a barrier so that the prayer was not granted [1]. If any one of these three things, prayer is not effective. "
